I'll drive to you, bring it to Mayfield and fill it, then bring it back for EUR100.
I'll leave now.

Rang Munster CO2, said i might be down today and what time would he be open until, was told 18.00 but that if i was running late to call and he would hold on for me no worries. So off i go in my motor down the Cork road, of course i had no credit in the phone but i said to myself, no worries i will be there before 18.00 anyway. Got to outside the door bang on 17.45 and the fecker was locked up and gone for the day, of course no mobile for Munster CO2 to call him and see what the story was. Bloody wasted 2 hour round trip and petrol, pissed off now >:(

Do you use fire extinguisers in Waterford?

Surely there is a Fex company there that can fill a CO2 bottle!?
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

Will check and see but i would be concerned that Fex CO2 would have impurities not wanted in home brew ? Also would they not require the tank to be pressure tested ? :D

Get in touch with Munster CO2.
Explain your case, hopefully get an apology, find out why he let you down so this does not happen again.
Travel again and put out down to experience. He might knock a few quid off your fill.
Also, never go anywhere without credit on your phone, there is another chap in Cork who could have sorted you out.

+1 On the phone credit, major slip up on my part, not like me to forget that and i only realised it when i was near Youghal so i couldn't have called him if i wanted. Thinking back i did say that i "might" be down and that if i was what time would he be open until, he said 18.00, so when i decided to go i assumed he would be there without calling first.

Would rather not rock the boat with him as he is sound lad from what i can see, so not going to seek apology on this, i am partly to blame due to no phone credit. Thanks for the mobile info though, handy for future reference. I will take another trip during next week, actually i a thinking of getting a 2kg tank as well for a spare, depending on if we can do a reasonable deal. ;D

I don't think there are any fire extinguisher refillers in WD. I looked before and couldn't find any.

I think you are correct Tube, Fex sellers but not fillers, bloody PITA in situations like this,if i can get a 2kg tank at a good price of him i think funds allowing i will take that as well to have a backup.
