Hi,

My name's Emma and still a really novice Brewer.  I've been brewing about 5 months so far and only a few kits but looking forward to starting an extract brew. At the moment there's a ginger beer in progress so really looking forward to the results of that.

Whereabouts are you based? There's four local homebrew groups in and around Dublin; if you can come along to any of the monthly meetups you'll learn a lot, and get to try other brewers beers

Check out the capital brewers section if we are closer/handier
we have a summer comp in 2 weeks in kavanaghs Dorset street. Drop down, be part of the judging and if you have any beer left that <4% chance your arm entering.
Would need 4 bottles (2l) half for are comp and the other half if your in the top 3 for the finals.

Believe it or not Ronan my beer was too successful and people drank it all on me. I'm planning on hoarding the ginger beer for a while but sounds like fun and it would be easier getting to Dorset than Swords.
