Just wondering, if im starting to taste the Copper oxide in my beer, the chiller goes in 15 towards of the boil. It goes in  normal brown colour and comes out like a Brasso ad. I think i getting a tinny taste in with the bitterness and a musty taste and the end. is it coming from the chiller?

Nope!  The world over has been using copper in brew kettles if it was bad we'd  know by now.
Isn't copper a good yeast nutrient anyhoo?

Shane Phelan

You only need to worry about copper when you can see the green hue of the copper oxide. Mine also comes out shiny as does my mash tun manifold.

SS won't do heat transfer as well as copper anyway.
