Wetherspoons in Swords

Have just had a pint the Old Boro in Swords.

The staff have just been informed that the pub closes on August th 19th and ownership transfers to JDW on the 20th.

No further news but for anyone who knows the Boro it is almost JDW ready.

This may be one of the few times JDW have purchased a staffed/running/going concern!

Apparently they are looking at The Sandyford House as well.

Well just to say that the builders have moved into the OB and JDW have announced it on their home page!
