Could someone give me the inside dimension of a crown capper head
Going to knock one up at work.
Don't need the taper dimensions
The cost of buying one is prohibitive

Thanks

I cannot justify 4 + euro on  postage and I would like to have a crack at making  it.

I was down in HBW the other day and they didn't have any

Post a few pics of the finished product. Ya mad bastard ya  :P

LordEoin

I bet you've been waiting for months for a chance to use that thing!  ;D

I actually had to put a new battery in it. It's been a while  :P

Perfect photo Garry, thanks.

We have a small 1 tonne press that I can for it to. and borrow.

If it works I'll fire up a photo

Final yoke.
Pieces from around the workshop.
Handle on toggle clamp was already extended for leverage and had an old file handle fitted.
It does the job.
Bottles are in the attic now so shall see it the seals are good

Garry

Well done. It's very sturdy looking :)

phelixoflaherty

Thanks for the help Garry.

Did I hear the word workshop :). What we don't need is another IT nerd :P  but instead someone like yourself who actually's works for a living :).
