Ok original post sounded like a job advert for a brewer role. Clearly its an investor business partner request having read the thread. @ damien no interest in a brewery business. Im / we are happy producing medal winning beers and doing some teaching and mentoring, however if a brewer job was available.. Say o haras for example and offered a wage that would ensure a half decent living for a 39 hr week id be considering it..... Not sure if such a job wud come up...
@ dark horse
As 2014 nhc best brewer and recently uk nationals double gold winners taking 11.1% of the gold medals on offer we can brew great beer consistently. We also brewed highest score summer sessions, 2nd monochrome comp, 2nd in ncb, 2nd in liffey and have hosted brew days too many to mention and mentored and continue to mentor many new brewers. We brew beer from spruce, beetroot, liquorice, fresh corn and have produced oak cask treats that are still talked about especially following our german themed wedding beerfest.  So fit the job description but not interested in a brewing business and not interested in a job working hard for long hours.......but if u would like a chat re brewing our door is always open @maltcrackers brewhouse / clubhouse

Brewing skills alone are no guarantee of business success and OP was fairly clear their skills were on the business side and TBH I don't think they need to justify their bona fides, other than to that elusive business partner.

Thanks Mr Hoppy. To my mind, your comments have a resonable and measured view of my original post.

39 hour week? Have I wandered into the joke thread  ;D
Give a man a beer, waste an hour. Teach a man to brew, and waste a lifetime!

Best of luck with the venture dark horse.  I would imagine there are massive challenges ahead,  raw materials supply chain,  marketing,  distribution,  end point of sale material,  not to mention the normal start up considerations for a new business.  Keep us up to date on progress,  if nothing else there are plenty of educated beer tasters here :)
