Priming sugar in bottles

Hey guys,

I normally batch prime my beer and use beersmith or online calculator for it. So I'm a little lost when it comes to adding sugar directly to the bottles.

Now I have a few different sized bottles and wanted to know if the is a calculator or a formula to determine how much sugar to put in the bottle.

The reason I am asking and not batch priming is I have a few batches in gallon jugs and they are different volumes so want to correctly prime the beer.

Cheers

I use a level half teaspoon (about 2.5grams) per 500ml for medium carbonation.
But if I was filling various size bottles I'd probably rack to a second jug and batch prime there.

Either use LordEoin's 2.5 per 500 and get out the kids school calculator or do the tried and trusted and decant all liquid to a bottling bucket and batch prime. :)
