Northside/capital brewers homebrew meetup 14/1/15

So i mentioned before i might try see if there was interest in a Northside brewers club but it might be better to incorporate the capital brewers in this one (not that anyone would ever not be welcome )

Venue: The Back Page, 199 phibsborough road
Time: 7pm
Bring: 1L of homebrew

Bring homebrew and as always try to buy a good few drinks from the hosts.

Id advise only bringing 1 beer each (1L) for the meeting as its our first time there

Can't make it this month as I have a standing Wed/Thursday thing that I have to make for a few weeks. Really want to potter to the February one though, as the location is grand to get too.

That would clash with north county brewers, though any other Tuesday of the month would work better for me as well.

Yes this will go ahead on Wednesday. We can have another one next month for those that cant make it and of course the regular capital meet up. January is always a good month for homebrew.

A big thanks to DC Brewing for organising the meetup last night !!!

I'd heard of 3 Floyds Brewing Co,. but 3 Pauls - that's just ridiculous 

Highlight of the evening for me was the Zombie Dust clone, a very clean and drinkable beer, and a good balance of malt and hops. A little more bitterness on the finish would have been ideal, but that's just my taste. Really enjoyed Fionn's cider, sweet and delicious - made with proper apples too - lovely!
