Is there anyone out there around the south Dublin area who would be able to drill a couple of holes in a couple of kegs for me? I'm making a keggle and a HLT. I've got the lids cut out, I just need a couple of holes drilled. One 1/2 inch and one 1" inch in each keg. I've no homebrew on the go at the moment but I'll pay you in beer once I do the first batch. Cheers. O0 O0

I assume that your using a 1/2" for taps. What are you using the 1" holes for?

I have some hole punches that will do the job if you want. Alternatively shop for them at handyharware.ie

PM me if you are interested.

I have some stepped drill bits. I got a lend of a power drill and the speed of that drill made shit of the drill bits. Now when I use them in my normal had drill they don't cut at all.

I am assuming they are Non hardened bits. The hardened bit I bought cost me $50 from the US. If I can help in any way let me know as I am based in Blackrock Co Dublin.

Sounds to me you went at the stainless steel with the speed of a ferrari. Stainless is like a good women you best go slow and keep the bit lubricated  ;)
