Was pleasantly surprised to see craft beer on draught at T2 Dublin Airport today. Just had a pint of Tempelbrau by Porterhouse at Harvest Market. Little bit steep at €5.45 but iirc macro beers cost much the same in airport in departure area.

That price seems pretty reasonable for Dublin Airport to me, especially considering there are city centre pubs gouging 6.50 for craft pints.

That's a fair point Bubbles, I did however get a pint of Rebel Red in Autobahn night before for €5.25. There is certainly a big variation in prices around Dublin and elsewhere depending on where you go. As for some bars in Temblebar area.... Gouging is an understatement

They have been selling porterhouse beers for years, since T2 opened really. Many is the time I have had a full Irish and pint or two of porterhouse Oyster or Plain at 6am in the morning :D
It's a pre-flight ritual if I find myself in T2.
T1 is crap still.

I'm pretty sure the last time I had a pint of plain, it was less than €5. Lager tends to be more expensive than stout.

Pity that harvest place is so crap though! I always have some bad experience there. Few weeks ago i was there and all of my breakfast was cold with soggy toast, they must go out of their to mess up things there. The hophead was good though!

If you go into TempleBar, you're asking for trouble...  ;)

T1 landside bars have O'Hara's Pale Ale. Some of the T2 landside restaurants have it too. I don't know about airside.
