Beer on the brain

I've been obsessing about beer for the past few weeks!

It's been on my brain night and day. The other night when I sat down at the computer, a bottle of Kinnegar in my hand, I decided to check out their website. I was surprised that their site was a little lackluster and didn't have the same impression on me that their beer has ( I love it ).

I started to muck about with their homepage and came up with the following. Bottles, text and logo are all mocked (thats why the porter isn't black).







Their branding is much cleaner / flatter in comparison to what I've done, but it was only for a bit of craic

That's class. Get on to them and get some work on the side there. Big improvement.

Now I've got Kinnegar beer on the brain. I hate dry months

Nice job. The real site is pretty awful, you'd think they could at least get a friend or a fan to do a better job of fancying up their WP theme.

Cheers folks, yeah I was pretty surprised when I seen the site, it doesn't reflect the quality of their brew. I'm not trying to knock what they do, the site itself is very informative with great news posts and images, I just think it needs a little oomph!

I like the website. Function over form for me any day. Lots of pictures and info and it's easy to follow. What more do you need?

It pisses me off seeing a fancy website with no content. Like; "under construction". Just delete the page until it's ready. Then there's the lazy buggers that use a template and don't change the "Lorum ipsum" text! [/rant]
