Really? Which ad is that. Its worse from Guinness I reckon, most craft beer drinkers I know drink Guinness when theres no craft available where as they would have drank Heineken or Bud a few years ago. I think Guinness move to embrace it with their porter is a better move.

The one where they have the 2 young brewers in their experimental brewery talking about local ingredients and passion etc

The bud one appeals to their audience perfectly.

Interesting though. A rule of thumb is when you are the big business you do not mention your competition minnows ever in a public way because all publicity is considered good and as the big business you can lose more than you win. It is the reverse when you are the minnow.
