Any Electricians to modify my Burco?

Evening all,
I'm in search of some help from somebody who could re-wire my 20ltr Burco.  I have purchased a grainfather and need something to heat up my sparge water seperately.

What I'm looking for is somebody to be able to modify my Burco so that I can set it to heat to a set temperature i.e. Sparge Temp.
I presume I'll need an STC 1000??

If there is anyone out there who is willing to give this a shot I would offer my eternal gratitude and a selection of my best brews (they are getting better) and of course they would be owed a massive favour.

Heres my original post - I knew the Burco would eventually come in handy - http://www.nationalhomebrewclub.com/forum/index.php/topic,6276.msg79914.html#msg79914

And a fews pics too.  I have since replaced the outlet tap on it too.

Have you thought about just boiling and adding cool water to get your strike temp? Sounds simpler

What I imagine would be the easiest to achieve what you want is install a weldless thermowell into the burco, a stc1000 would work, but if people work out how to replace the stc200 on the grainfather with the stc1000 you could keep the better one for that, and it would be simply building a project box with stc and an outlet plugging the burco into it and putting the probe from the stc into the thermowell.

A 10amp STC-1000 is OK up to 2.4kW so it would be fine for the Burco you have. Have a look at LordEoin's STC-1000 guide.

You might be able to fit the STC-1000 into the skirt at the base of the Burco? It would be a nice neat solution if it fits.

Cheers lads.
I've read up about LE's guide but my problem is I'm no good at wiring up something like that and don't want to risk it.
What I'm hoping for, rather cheekily, is for someone to show me how to do it or just just do it and I will repay them. Really don't want to risk making a balls of the burco and electronics.

Here's hoping ...

Well if your just heating up sparge water, its never going to boil.
So you dont need to mess with the Burco wiring.

Just get an STC-1000 and set that up, the Burco will just plug into that and then put the temperature probe into the water, not touching the bottom with the element. Thats it. nothing special.
