Put this on last week and bottled last night. Two can kit with best before of Feb 15. OG 1.044, FG 1.015 so, at 3.8% before priming, well below the claimed 4.5%. Still, can't be downing 7+% monsters every day! Fermentation was a breeze. Got 42 x 500ml bottles.

Must say that, even from the bucket, this tastes absolutely cracking! I'm not familiar with bitters (like most Irish people I guess) but this is bloody nice. Reckon I'll be dipping into this early!

That's a grand strength for a bitter.
It'll go down nicely when the sun decides to shine again :)

Have had a good few of these now and it is an absolute belter! Clear as a bell, and has been since less than two weeks in the bottle. Kind of a mild, creamy 'floral' IPA taste, with a bitter kick to finish. Carbed well (possibly too well for the style, but it works for me). Pours with a big foamy head after 3 weeks in bottle, very similar to a weissbier. Head lasts all the way too. Highly recommended.

Working my way through these (about 10 left) and must say it really is a very nice beer and one I'd be happy to pay for in a pub. Definitely my best kit to date. Am eyeing up the 'Imperial' Stout from the same Muntons Gold range as my next stout kit. If it's as good as this bitter, I'll be very happy.

Have you tried the Coopers English bitter? If so, how does it compare?

No, in fact I'm not sure I've ever drank a bitter before this kit at all TBH!

Cooper's bitter is a big winner for me.  Can't keep the stuff for any length of time, especially when my mates are around.
Reckon I'll give this one a crack once the current Cooper's bitter is done to see how they compare.
