ill be taking as many cuttings and rooting them as quickly as i can over the next couple weeks. so as soon as they develop roots really.... within a month id imagine

Hey guys, I have a few more to go but unfortunately i didnt quite expect so many looking for it this year and the majority of the cutings died with the late frosts and continous cold ( honestly its a really rubbish summer) so a few of you may need to wait till next spring to get sorted out

I've got 4 varieties thriving in my garden now I can share around when I figure out how -
Cascade, Challenger, Hallertau Aroma & Fuggles.
The Fuggles & Hallertau grew like demons from cuttings I got from Upsidedown Andrew.

The American ones are doing fine as well (just meaning the plant growing rather than any crop yet) . Just the other 2 got a head start.

I'd definitely take a few Rhizomes off you Simon, whenever you figure it out

ah the climate dose make a bit of a difference but honestly its mostly just young plants being vulnerable. 1st year plants ( and to a lesser extent 2nd year) can be killed off easily by stuff like late frost after there 2nd year your going to have a hard time killing them off tho. Wind is a big problem for them as well , but avoid those things and they become a massively invasive plant that just wont die lol
Ill keep making cuttings etc. anyway going to redo my setup next year so I get better wind protection. Just if anybody is pushed to get them this year opposed to next spring let me know so i can be sure to keep the plant for you. or if people dont really care what hop they get or if its specifcally cascade cause i have a few bramly X aswell
