What category do they go into in the nationals? Speciality IPA?

Speciality IPA yeah, might be a good idea to get judging guidelines prepared for the style as well.

Just wondering was there any guidelines drawn up or will NEIPAS be losing points for low levels of bitterness etc as they are still in the IPA CAT?

DEMPSEY

I'd say that they would suffer in he scoring as this is not yet considered a separate style. :-\

Speciality ipa was name to cover this. If person cones out and it's marked as a neipa, it will be judged against neipa.
The issue I'm having is finding a good reference commercially to calibrate against in the shops. Anyone got any tips?
