I have a question about the entry form. Will it possible to edit the "hops" section after registration. I know it's not a required field, just wondering.

fishjam45 (Colin)

Yes all entries can be edited.

You will get an email after you enter and if you wish to edit your entry just reply to that email.

Looking good. Two quick things for the entry system:

1. Can you list the guidelines for strength. Session, standard and double are a little vague. I'm sure you're following BJCP norms, but will help peps when selected the option.

2. The labels aren't sent out currently, just in case you're not aware.

Best of luck with the comp - looks like it's going to be a great day out!
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

Yeah I have questions about what a session NE IPA is as well.
The style guidelines attached to the comp say
OG: 1.045 - 1.085
ABV: 4.5% - 10.0%

Generally the BJCP guideline say
session-strength <4% ABV
If the BJCP guidelines define what a session IPA is I can't find it

Basing it on the IPA ABV range (now updated on entry form):

Session     < 5.5%
Standard   5.5% - 7.5%
Double      > 7.5%

This is mainly for us in organising the judging flights, we don't want judges to be judging a 8% first, followed by a 4%.

Entries up to today will get them shortly (tonight?), hopefully have them automated by end of today.

(only use the Google Form a couple of times a year, need to remember to switch on the Form Response to include the label ;))

Great stuff, thanks Peter.

Another commercial example now on Irish shelves:

Simcoe, Amarillo, Mosaic, + HBC 344
20 IBUs
Oats
No mention of the yeast, but it is a Cloudwater collab, so something English is definitely possible...

Had the same myself on Saturday Night.
Nice drop, but there will be better than that in the competition.
