Am I the only one who didn't get a label? Couldn't send my entry up today as a result so I am now out.

I appreciate its hard to organise a competition lads but you seem to be dead keen for people to enter and I found you less than accommodating in terms of getting entries up (i.e. wouldnt accept a club rep delivering to brew con), never received a label, and have had no response to my email letting you know I got no label.

Surprised you promoted this so much when its not easy to participate.

The closing date, May 1st, is to have your bottles with your local club reps as per the original post and entry form.

Again, if you don't have a local club rep or if there is any difficulty communicating with your local club as in Rafals case then pm me directly.

You still have until May 1st to get your entries to your club reps, we'll sort it from there.

Apologies on you not receiving a reply earlier but the other Competition organisers are flat out helping in the organising of Brewcon, I'm sure you can appreciate that.

Entries not accepted at Brewcon as no guarantee of not being lost.

PM me directly if you have anymore issues or we can chat tomorrow at Brewcon.

Hi Krockett,
1. I have checked our system, you were sent the labels (automatically) directly after we received your entry (20 Apr 20:32). I have resent a copy of that email to you again.
2. As per the rules for this competition (& for most ones run by clubs for the last year & a half through the NHC), has been to have the local clubs organise the gathering of entries for a coordinated pickup.
3. The club reps were reminded of this a few days ago, specifically that we would not be accepting entries at BrewCon. A few reasons for this, mainly BrewCon is a very busy conference for us, with a lot of people milling about, there isn't any suitable storage space for entries & no method to delivered them for the venue back to our houses safely.
4. The competition is still open. We are not taking in any entry before the competition entry date is up, i.e. 1st May, so we don't have to do a second run to collect entries, defeating the purpose of having local club collection points.
5. You still have 3 more days to print the label & organise to get it to your local club.
6. A bit disingenuous, you emailed at 18:46 and are upset that we didn't reply within six hours! (Some of us have also being putting an hour or two hours into BrewCon lately; so we'll try at our next competition to implement a SLA of 4hrs, if you wish) We do care, that is why we have put so much effort into running it this way. We started using this format 2 years ago ourselves & most clubs have now followed suit when they saw how effective it was (we also advised/helped them set them up when asked, because, heck, we're like that, we help each other out).

(Why did it take you 8 days to realise/say you didn't receive a label?)

Thanks for the response- sorry was just a bit disappointed last night. Shouldn't have brought negativity here. Well done for organising this and looking forward to reading about the judging/ entries.

Just a reminder that today is the shut off point to get your entries to your club reps.

Again, if anybody has any difficulties in any way relating to entries please PM me directly and we'll do our best to sort it out.

Cheers Everybody!
