one problem we might have is that there seems to be a lot of us with electric kettles that we won't be able to run off the same supply simultaneously.

We could hold off til the national homebrew day in october and empty the barrel the same day. or something.

There's a beer festival due in the Mad Monk.
I was asked If I was interested in doing 'something', that might be a small batch brew.
I think this is 29/30 Aug.

Lee Valley posted about a beer festival in Ballyvourney at The Mill on same weekend you mentioned Johnrm. White Deer, Mountain Man and Franciscan Well are going to be there for it apparently.

How about pairing into teams for a brew off? Halve the number of rigs and it would be a bit of craic.

Because we are so dispersed, splitting into groups might be a good idea? And yes, it would be a bit if craic too. I just don't want to be the last one standing by the wall like in school. Although in fairness, I was shite at football.

Small brew day going ahead Saturday on Midleton as part of Mad Monk Summer Beer Festival on Fri, Sat, Sun.

Cask ale, 2 New beers brewed for the festival - Rocketship IPA and Midleton Red Ale

Fri nite - Happy Hour 6 to 7, Music 10pm to late.
Sat - happy hour, Half price food 1 to 2. We're brewing at 2 to 5 or so.
Sam is doing a meet the brewer about 5:30
Sun - happy hour 1-2, BBQ all day.
