Great idea Bren, another club sorted. Don't refuse coffee!!
Bad day brewing is better than good day working.

johnrm

Malt is going to be EUR20 per 25kg+/-
Budget a few quid for transport as this 'depends'

Still half price, if Ger likes our beers I'll be getting van or truck on regular  ;)

yep Ponaire.. Limerick shipping at a fiver makes it expensive if u only want a bag or two but me a a few mates buy a hundred quid at a time and free shipping.. that keeps us saving shipping and keeping our coffee arriving fresh on a weekly or forthnightly basis.
Superb coffee...roasted to order arrives at your door in the post nxt day.  Costa rica blend is our favorite

Hi AleAlex

One of the guys Eoin had offered to store the delivered grain.  He lives in Tyrrelstown in North West Dublin. Is this okay with you for doing the delivery or would you prefer a city centre delivery point?

Hi Alealex

I am offering to collect and distribute to Central and South Dublin brewers. Will pay my share of tolls and fuel costs plus provide some home brew samples. Would it be possible to arrange a delivery to a city centre location for myself and north County dublin brewers to collect from? Would be looking to collect and redistribute that evening as I don't have facilities to store so much grain securely.

If your okay my suggestion I will get in touch with other Dublin based brewers to get the logistics sorted out.

Shanna

Thats perfect Shanna,
yep, I'll be happy if you could suggest it to the rest of Dublin clubs to get themselves organised to distribute same way if possible, please.

Plan so far is to go from Carlow> Cork> Roscrea> Dublin> Carlow (some 600km, 80-90 ltrs diesel, 4 tolls)
Is Galway/Mayo ok with collection from Roscrea?
How about Waterford area?
Cheers.

Hi johnrm

Just a few questions on payment/dates

How will you collect the money?
When do you intend to collect the grain and when do you needed to be paid by?
Can we assume all types of grain are €20?

I would suggest that whatever the transport costs are that they are split in proportion to the amount of grain someone buys. E.g. if I buy 100 kg of grain from a total of 1000kg I should pay 1/10th of the local transport costs. Just in passing I am getting 75kg of grain. This probably will only work for the initial hop from mci to your place as the other transport is more complicated.
