Personally I would be prepared to pay extra to do it right as long as it wasn't ridiculous.

I've got equipment to do YouTube videos if its needed, (lighting set, camera, backdrop) no problem setting that up if it's needed.

Might be an idea to do a test session. Does anyone have a preference for which live stream service to use?

I have an easy webinar account that we can use, just need to send private invites to those joining (just email needed) and people can then watch live?

Sounds read-to-go out of the bag. So maybe as an idea, a week or two before the next BJCP sessions start we invite remote groups to a test session so we can iron out any kinks before hand. Of course the next thing to do is to identify a venue...

The test would ideally have to be in the potential venue as the wifi could make it or break it.

Just what I was thinking. I do have a portable 4G WiFi router if we are really stuck...

Now we just need to throw around a few ideas for possible venues. Off the top of my head I'm thinking upstairs at Against The Grain; top floor Sweetmans; games room The Square Ball; I can think of a couple more but these are the most central.

ATG is a pain to get to from the North side. Brewdock is the most central and well connected to bus/rail!
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

We'll have to check that we can reserve the upstairs area. I can have a chat to Andy Byrne.

Any indication whether the living streaming idea is a runner? I know there'd be some takers for it down here in the  PRC.

+1 if a livestream is possible...

Folks we have kicked off the Facilitators or helpers poll
Once we have the top 8 dates we will get back firm up everything.

If you fancy doing the course, you will then pick the dates you can attend.
The two least favoured dates are then elimated.

This leaves 6 classes. You then register and pay for which (or all) of the classes you can attend.
We would recommend attending 4, and also recommend not missing the sensory session.

Once the 6 classes are complete, we will arrange the 'Mock' exam and then the actual exam, hopefully in November.

Thanks

James

After judging at Killarney I realise how I seem to skim over off flavours, so probably need a refresher  :-[
